Panel filter ePM10 50% (M5)
SO 16890
(formerly EN 779:2012)
Panel filters are used as filters themselves for the second filtration stage M5, F7 and F9. In conditions that require high filter strength at high filtered air velocities. They are mainly used in intelligent energy management systems - HVAC.
Product description
The polypropylene filter medium is folded into dense pleats (minipleat) and bonded using hot-melt adhesive separators. This pleated pack is inserted into a durable frame made of plastic, reinforced cardboard, or galvanized steel.
The medium is sealed with either a two-component adhesive or hot-melt glue. Frame heights are standardized at 25, 48, and 96 mm. Upon request, panel filters can also be manufactured with custom frame heights. A label on the filter frame indicates the filter dimensions, filtration class, and airflow direction.
When the recommended final pressure drop of 350 to 400 Pa is reached, the entire filter is replaced with a new one. During operation, the filter is maintenance-free.
Filters can be disposed of by incineration or in regulated landfill sites.
